West Sussex County Council is conducting surveys to gather views on current and future pharmaceutical needs and provision across West Sussex. Pharmaceutical services are those services from community pharmacies (chemists), dispensing doctors and appliance contractors such as prescription medicines, appliances and health advice. The information collected will be used to inform the PNA. A PNA is a statement of the need for pharmaceutical services of the local people. It is a legal document that is used by NHS England to inform its decisions on applications to open new pharmacies, dispensaries, or appliance contractors or relocation of premises. It is also used to make decisions about new services to be provided by community pharmacies.
Your views are really important in shaping current and future services in-order to meet your needs and those of your local community. Please take some time to complete the survey at https://haveyoursay.westsussex.gov.uk/public-health/pnasurvey or http://jsna.westsussex.gov.uk/pna/survey. The survey is open from Monday 27th February until Monday 27th March 2017. Paper copies of the surveys are also available in community pharmacies, GP surgeries, libraries and other venues.
Further information about the PNA can also be found at www.westsussex.gov.uk/pna. If you have any queries, please contact Aloisia Katsande at firstname.lastname@example.org or Ryan Walkley at email@example.com.
