NHS England Oversight Framework for 2019/20

As you may know, our CCGs are assessed annually by NHS England against 5 domains, rating each CCG as red, amber, green or green star. This is referred to as the Oversight Framework.

Prior to the rating being awarded,  CCGs are required to perform a self-assessment and we hope that you will help us to do this.

In the spirit of partnership working, we hope that you can work with us to identify the best examples of public involvement, drawing on your own experience of working with the CCGs and its communities.

With your support, we hope to be able to highlight examples where Public Involvement is evident in each of the 5 domains:

  1. Governance
  2. Annual Reporting
  3. Day to Day practice
  4. Feedback and Evaluation
  5. Equality and Diversity.

Last year the CCGs in Sussex were rated overall as Green – ‘Good’ in this assessment, and we hope to exceed this with an outstanding rating where possible this year.

There are some areas where the CCGs practice of involving people is stronger and others where improvements could be made.

Come and join us in this process of self-assessment on either:
